How to sow golden BX manglebeet: Direct seed into soil. Thin to 7cm apart when seedlings are 5cm tall.

Sun requirement for golden BX manglebeet: Plant in Full Sun

A mangelwurzel-type beet, similar to beetroot but much larger, sweeter and more tender, bright golden inside and out with no earthy taste. Used like beetroot, and the sweet leaves are good raw or cooked. Scatter seed in trays with plenty of room so no pricking out is needed, cover with 3 mm of mix, and transplant about four weeks later, 20 cm apart on the diagonal.
