PermalinkAll of our basil plants are flowering. How do I go about collecting / saving seeds from them? Are they like onions where you do the wrap-flower-in-plastic-bag trick?

:) i prune down the stalks n wrap paper bag over the flowerheads… I find sometimes plastic can hold moisture inside and spoil the seed….:)

I just wanted to chime in and say, last year when I did this I kept an eye on the flower stalks and picked them when the seeds turned black.
