HOW For early sowing, raise in pots of Yates” Black Magic” Seed Raisitty Mix
ina well-lit, protected spot. Transplant after 2-4 weeks. For direct sowing
press 3-4 seeds into the centre of a shallow depression (so that water is
directed to plant roots) on top of a raised mound of moist soil 70cm apart.
Later thin to the two strongest plants.
Select a sunny, well-drained position. Add compost and Yates” Thrive®
Natural Blood & Bone before sowing and feed regularly with Yates” Thrive®
Flower & Fruit Soluble Piant Food. Keep well watered at base of plant.
Protect from snails and slugs .
Harvest when zucchinis are about 15cm long, to encourage higher yields.
Keep well mulched.
