2014-08-31: Planted 6 broccoli in earthbox on north-facing balcony.
2015-01-19: Planted 6 more broccoli in second earthbox on north-facing balcony.
2015-05-03: Ate more broccoli; probably the third time we've harvested these plants – all have been very low yield harvests.
2015-05-10: Confirmed what has been eating most of the broccoli leaves by discovering a snail of unusual size under the broccoli pot. Between that and the aphids, it's probably time to retire the broccoli.
