Japanese cucumber. Purchased from the U-District Farmers Market. This is a start that's pretty well along – i think i can see where at least 1 cucumber is starting! I love Japanese cucumbers and am really interested to see how these do. The farmer said on his farm they can get 10' tall, but the cashier said that she lives in Ballard and hers only comes up to about her chin.

THE CASHIER LIED, this thing totally grew several feet above my head. But the cucumbers were delicious and i will ABSOLUTELY grow this again. :D
