Everything I read about growing kale always says that a handful of plants will feed the whole neighborhood. Sadly, last year our handful of plants were so scraggly that they hardly fed us.

This year I'm going a little more kale crazy–under the lights, wintersown, and probably some direct seeded. I'd be thrilled to have a "too much kale" problem! :)
