Notes
There were some pole beans seedlings (Kentucky wonder) at the garden center when I was buying peppers and eggplants and herbs. They were cheap so even though I doubt they'll grow, I figured it was worth a try.
EDIT: They grew well, but I did not like the beans, they were stringy and even though I followed the internet's instructions to remove the strings, they were still stringy. Will not grow Kentucky wonder again.
