Notes
as this is a tropical (although the plants came from thames), the banana is placed next to the coop in order to catch the warmth (and manure) from the chooks, with the loquat and fig on the windward side to act as shelter. The banana flowered a couple of months ago so will be interesting to see if it fruits successfully (this area does get some frosts, although the last two or three winters have been mild.)
