Notes
2021-06-09 : Three out from earth, will wait a bit before transplant.
2021-06-29 : The three of them have true leaves the size of the young ones, replanted them in the bigger container. Worried by the small root development.
2021-07-10 : One seedling didn’t survive the transplant, two left.
2021-07-23 : Another one is out. One left and growing.
2021-08-15 : Quick growth after a long stale period.
2021-08-28 : Petals appearing.
2021-09-14 : First flower fully bloomed. Unexpected secondary flowers appeared at nodes due to the parents seeds being from an hybrid specie.
2021-10-09 : Finally decided to declare it dead as the first flower didn’t produce seeds, second and third flowers didn’t grew anymore and the leaves were turning brown. The low temperatures may have impeded their growth.

This sunflower planting against the frost season
Planted 38 days after the usual last frost
- Usual frost danger
- Possible: as early or late as it has come
- Planting, finished
Experimental: this feature is new and might be flaky. These dates are estimates from 25 km weather-model data, not readings from a station at your garden, so a cold spot can be colder. They may be wrong, so check your national weather service and ask local growers before relying on them.
