Notes

I found this seedling growing in one of my orchid planters. I pulled it off and proceeded to plant it in the ground.

Pigeon peas are a source of nitrogen for the soil. They are very rich in iron and used as a meat substitute. They can be harvested when green or dry. A variety of dishes can be made from this legume.

The bushes can be used for a trellis for climbers such as cucumber, loofahs, or others. They can serve as shade for other crops growing underneath them.
