"Sweet basil"
One planted in an earthbox on the south-facing balcony, another on the south-facing balcony and one on the north-facing balcony.
2014-05-25: Bought a new basil plant for the south side to supplement the earthbox one, which was overshadowed by a tomato plant (and after that tomato plant was retired, we moved the older earthbox basil to the north-facing balcony and also planted peas).
2014-10-06: Overwhelmed by basil; gave one plant away.
2014-10-11: Trimmed the largest plant (north-facing earthbox) and dried a large chunk of basil.
2014-11-27: Retired what had been the largest plant, leaving one on each balcony.
2015-01-11: Retired plant on north-facing balcony.
