Notes

Packet of nasturtium seeds (Alaska) planted in newly rejuvenated soil under old, well-established lemon tree. Seeds from last year's plants also spread. Seedlings appeared in April, first flowers in June. Nasturtium intended as a) seasonal protective groundcover for lemon tree; b) flowers to amuse toddlers; c) source of seedpods to pickle as capers (delicious).
