An ancient culinary and medicinal herb. The leaves are used as cilantro, the seeds as coriander, and the roots are excellent in soups and stews. Grows well in New Zealand during the cool seasons. A heavy feeder. Sow in trays in early spring or early autumn, prick out at 2.5 cm and transplant at 6 cm high at 20 cm diagonal spacing. For seed, don't pick the leaves heavily.
