Tried to grow tomatoes in a bucket inside my apartment. This didn't work. Brought them outside to get some real rain and sun and the contents got dumped out (I think one of the local canners wanted the rubbermaid tub) and left on the building's lawn. I have secretly planted them (only one survived by the looks of things) near a shrub by the parking lot. My remaining tomato (black prince or sweet million… remains to be seen) is starting to put out new grown. Thank goodness. We'll see how this goes.
